VideoJet encoders
The
NWC-0455 and
NWC-0495
are high performance 1/3-inch CCD network
cameras, designed to ensure the highest possible
image quality at all times. These ultra-compact
cameras provide DVD-like quality MPEG-4 video at
up to 25 and 30 images per second. The

VIP 10
Mini Single channel MPEG-4 Video Transmitter or
Receiver
The VIP 10 with MPEG-4 S-VHS video encoding
provides high quality real time video images
with bidirectional audio over IP networks in a
compact, stylish and affordable housing.
Full-motion video can be remotely viewed on any
Windows PC with audio intercom and telemetry. It
features smooth S-VHS quality MPEG-4 video with
six times the frame rate of DVRs and M-JPEG
cameras with no increase in network traffic or
disk space. The VIP 10 offers optional external
storage by using a memory stick or external
harddisk at the USB interface. The VIP 10
receiver lets you view S-VHS quality networked
video on a standard CCTV monitor.
VIP 1000
Mini Single Channel MPEG-2/4 Video Transmitter or
Receiver
The VIP 1000 video sender/receiver combines
professional VCS alarm features with MPEG-2
broadcast quality pictures in a compact, stylish
and affordable housing. MPEG-2 produces
extremely sharp pictures with superb detail. It
thus brings security operations the practical
benefit of better recognition of people, objects
or even car number plates from a long way away.
And using the VIP 1000's low delay mode, this
outstanding quality is achieved with real time
transmission. In addition to MPEG-2, VIP 1000
can encode the video input in MPEG-4
simultaneously, producing a data stream that
could, for example, even be streamed through the
Internet. A VIP 1000 can use a constant or a
variable bit rate for transmission and it is
compatible with both PAL or NTSC video sources.
Its multicast feature facilitates efficient
observation and analysis by allowing several
clients to call up identical pictures at the
same time. The VIP 1000 offers optional external
storage by using a memory stick or external harddisk at the USB interface.
VIP X1 High Speed
Single-channel MPEG-4 Video Encoder
The VIP X1 features DVD like quality MPEG-4
video, at up to 30 images per second, over IP
networks. This unit supports PAL/NTSC (CCIR/EIA)
sources. The video signal can be received and
displayed with a standard web browser or VIDOS
video management software. Using the VIP XD or
any other MPEG-4 decoder , you can integrate
point-to-point connections into your system, to
display video from any VIP or VideoJet encoder
on analogue monitors. The VIP X1 provides Dual
Streaming. It will generate two MPEG-4 video
streams. The VIP X1 is ultra-compact, so it is
perfect for any application that depends on
space-saving solutions.
VIP X2 High Speed
Dual-channel MPEG-4 Video Encoder
The VIP X2 features 2 DVD like quality MPEG-4
video signals, at up to 30 images per second,
per channel, over IP networks. This unit
supports PAL/NTSC (CCIR/EIA) sources. The video
signals can be received and displayed with a
standard web browser or VIDOS video management
software. Using the VIP XD or any other MPEG-4
decoder, you can integrate point-to-point
connections into your system, to display video
from any VIP or VideoJet encoder on analog
monitors. The VIP X2 provides Dual Streaming. It
will generate in total 4 MPEG-4 video streams (2
per input). The VIP X2 is ultra-compact, so it
is perfect for any application that depends on
space-saving solutions.
VIP XD Single / Quad Stream
MPEG-4 Decoder
The VIP XD features DVD like quality MPEG-4
video at up to 30 images per second over IP
networks. It supports PAL or NTSC (CCIR or EIA)
sources. The video connections can be
established automatically by the encoder or with
the video management system VIDOS. The VIP XD
can be set up to display video in single-view or
quad-view mode. It is capable of decoding up to
4 video streams at the same time. The viewing
mode can be controlled remotely by a management
system like VIDOS. The VIP XD can alternatively
drive a VGA display directly, and thus is
ideally suited for applications like flat-screen
monitor walls. Ultra-compact in size the VIP XD
is perfect for any application that depends on
space-saving solutions.
VideoJet X10/X20/X40
High Speed MPEG-4 Encoders
The environmentally hardened VideoJet X series
features DVD-like quality MPEG-4 video, at up to
30 FPS (25 PAL) over IP networks. Designed for
extreme conditions and with a USB port to drive
future peripherals, the video can be received
and displayed with VIDOS video management
software or a standard web browser.
VIP X1600 High Speed 16
Channel MPEG-4 Encoder
The VIP X1600 is a high-performance 16-channel
encoder for either live streaming or Recording
at the Edge with reliable iSCSI RAID storage or
centralize NVR recording. It has up to 16
analogue camera and audio inputs, and is
designed for fault tolerance including
hot-swappable audio/video modules, redundant
Ethernet ports and redundant PSU inputs. For 30
FPS at 4CIF use in alternate input mode - inputs
1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15.
VIDOS the intelligent
video management software system
Run your CCTV system the way you want to with
VIDOS the intelligent all-in-one management
system. Ideal for set-up, administration and
day-to-day management of networked CCTV systems.
Mix and match digital and existing analog
components. From S to XXL - VIDOS is fully
scalable to any number of cameras and any
storage requirements. For recording and
playback, VIDOS integrates seamlessly with our
VIDOS-NVR networked video recorder and features
simultaneous recording, searching and playback
of multiple cameras.
VIDOS-NVR Network
Video Recorder software
system
VIDOS-NVR
adds networked video recording to VIDOS and
VIDOS-Pro. Each unit can record up to 64
channels of MPEG-2 or MPEG-4 video data; the
system can be extended to support any number of
cameras just by adding the appropriate number of
VIDOS-NVR units. VIDOS-NVR uses standard PC
servers with attached RAID disk arrays,
featuring a price/performance ratio dramatically
superior to DVRs. It includes the patented
Automatic Network Replenishment (ANR)
technology which ensures recording even if the
network is down.
VIDOS-NVR server
module
VIDOS-NVR
server is hardware custom designed to run the
VIDOS-NVR software.
VIDOS-NVR
RAID-5 data storage unit
VIDOS-NVR
data store is designed to be used by the VIDOS-NVR
server for high capacity video and audio data
storage.
Networked Video for CCTV Applications
As digital video technology advances and is
integrated with the Internet, the paradigm for
CCTV applications is moving from dedicated
cabling towards fully digital solutions. In
making the transition, much is to be learned
from the evolution we have seen in computing:
from the dominating mainframes to the ubiquitous
networked PCs of today. The same transition can
be expected in the CCTV area, where available
computer network resources are increasingly
utilized for the transmission of CCTV signals,
thereby voiding the need for dedicated video
cables. Other advantages are: scalability,
flexibility, fault tolerance and ultimately no
more multiplexers. What's more, the networks of
today combined with state-of-the-art compression
technology will provide many parallel and full
frame rate streams of video, where multiplexers
have so far provided few frames per second and
camera.
The video camera, a commodity item by today's
standards, will regain reputation by integrating
more and more functions, intelligence and
digital network interfaces. Once in the digital
domain, other advantages really come for free:
global access to remote video at a mouse click,
video recording without wear and tear, seamless
integration with data bases and other media are
just three of the many advantages that can be
tapped when going digital.
Networked video also opens up the door to a
whole new class of tapeless i.e. hard disk video
recording systems, namely networked video
recording: Based on standard PC server
technology, cost efficient mass storage is here.
A scheduling agent will access video streams
over the network and record in the background,
so in case something happens, you are covered.
