8 channel MPEG-2 DVR & Transmitter
The VideoJet 8000 video server
features 8 non-multiplexed MPEG-2 video streams
simultaneously over Gigabit-Ethernet and ISDN.
With a maximum data rate of 480 fully interlaced
DVD-quality fields per second the device
provides video with best use of bandwidth.
Its video signal can be viewed
on any standard PC using the software decoder
VIDOS or a web browser. With one of the MPEG-2
hardware receivers you can put up box-to-box
solutions. Optionally the VideoJet 8000 comes
with a video output to be linked to a CCTV
monitor for local display.
With its integrated hard disk
of 120, 240 or 600 GByte the VideoJet 8000
allows simultaneous playback and back-up while
recording.
The device comes as 1HU-high
rack-mount or desktop unit offering highest port
density and all well-proven security and
management features. For soecial demands it is
also available with 8-channel full-duplex audio.
